Bleeth's Nash DashYasmine Bleeth is moving from Baywatch to the Bay. The bathing beauty and star of the box office bust that was BASEketball is joining the cast of the San Francisco-based Don Johnson cop series Nash Bridges, reports Daily Variety.Bleeth will trade her Speedo for (we assume) a tight-fitting suit to play rigid internal affairs officer Caitlin Cross. And like any beautiful woman who lands on the CBS action show, Bleeth will soon find herself caught up romantically with Johnson's smooth-talking title character. The trade says Bleeth's character will end up defending Nash and his partner Joe (Cheech Marin) after they're accused of killing three of their co-workers. She'll soon launch her own investigation into Bridges and his special unit—er, investigative unit, that is. "They start out as adversaries, but they end up falling in love," Nash exec producer Carlton Cuse explains to Variety. The series is currently entering its fourth season, and remains one of the eye network's strongest performers. |
