Yasmine Bleeth's Big-Screen AmbitionBaywatch star Yasmine Bleeth has signed on to star in her first feature film--and we can only hope that it will be more successful than fellow beach alum Pamela Anderson Lee's Barb Wire. Variety reports that the former TV lifeguard is set to join the cast of the low-budget pic It Came From the Sky, playing a mystery woman who is either a heaven-sent angel or a con artist. The film also stars Christopher Lloyd, JoBeth Williams, and John Ritter--not exactly names that fill theaters. Filming begins in November, but for those who can't wait, Bleeth will dig out her bathing suit to guest star in at least four episodes of Baywatch this season. She's also just wrapped a role in the NBC TV movie The Lake, a sci-fi flick about a small town whose residents are sucked into a vortex in a lake and replaced by evil twins. Oy. |
