Yasmine Bleeth
E!Online
Q & A

Judging from your comments and questions, you didn't need People magazine to tell you that Yasmine Bleeth is one of the world's 50 most beautiful people. Bleeth, the stunning brunette who struts her stuff each week on the hugely--and internationally--popular Baywatch, is certainly a favorite with E! Onliners.

But Bleeth is spending less and less time in her skimpy red one-piece these days. She's chosen not to renew her Baywatch contract: She'll only make guest appearances. Instead, she's busy with TV movies and CD-ROMs, and she just completed filming a starring role in the feature film Heaven or Vegas. Does this mean we've seen the absolute last of Yasmine running on the sunny shores of the Pacific? We'll let her answer that.

Here, in the cyberflesh, is that other Baywatch babe to take on all of your questions--but, sorry, not all of your proposals...

From oamfcb187: How old are you, and where are you from?

I'm 28 years young, and I'm from New York City.

From gettingold: Is your lovely name your real name?

I love my name, too, and it's been Yasmine since day one. I wouldn't change it for the world!

From miah: I am a 21-year-old firefighter, and my buddies and I have a debate going on about who is the most beautiful woman in Hollywood. They have almost all cast their votes for Pamela Anderson, but I faithfully campaign for you. Do you have any posters or calendars so I can show my buddies they're all wrong?

Thanks for your faithful support. You are in luck. I have a poster available in most stores that sell posters. FYI: I've also seen Yasmine/Baywatch car air fresheners. They smell...well, nice, and I'm sure they'd look great in your fire engines.

From badrock: Which person on Baywatch do you enjoy working with most?

David Hasselhoff--what a professional.

From schroeder: If you had to go out with one of the guys from Baywatch, who would it be?

The guys on Baywatch are like brothers to me. I don't think of them as dates, but David Chokachi is a lot of fun to hang out with.

From corndog: Have you ever dyed your hair blonde or been pressured to in order to get a part?

I admit to having highlighted my hair red--but I never have and never would dye it blonde. Brunettes really do have more fun.

From jers: What's the best and worst thing about being on Baywatch?

The best is hanging out on the beach all day. The worst is the cold, dirty Pacific water.

From ice_skater: On Friends, what do you think of Joey and Chandler's obsession with Baywatch? Chandler even put you on his "five celebrities I can sleep with and my mate can't get mad" list. Is this weird for you, or are you flattered?

I'm flattered--and it sure doesn't hurt our show, either. [Joey and Chandler] probably speak on behalf of so many men around the world.

From arjs: Is is true that you are dating Matthew Perry?

Contrary to what the tabloids print, I am not dating Matthew.

From nocode: Why have you turned down repeated offers to pose for Playboy?

I'm not interested in Playboy. I'm a fashion maven, and I love people to see me with my clothes on.

From kmb173: What is one of the craziest things you have done in your life?

Once when I was hanging around with friends, I drank a bottle and a half of wine, which is way too much for me. Things definitely got a little crazy, considering I hardly ever drink.

From larryc: Are you still dating the actor who played Dean Frame on Another World?

I am no longer dating Ricky Paull Goldin, but we remain friends.

From mja125: How did it feel to be in the video game Maximum Surge?

Maximum Surge was a completely new experience for me. It was great to get tough and gritty. The whole concept of CD-ROM is still mind-blowing to me.

From alienrage: Don't you think David Hasselhoff needs to start picking some more real-looking women?

David is a great guy and a smart boss. How else do you explain the show being the number one international show?

From jamie_nq: Do you get along with Gena Lee Nolin offscreen? You hate each other's guts on Baywatch.

I get along very well with Gena Lee, though we are not best friends. My best friend, Nancy Valen, was cast on Baywatch this season.

From rutteger: Are the producers ever going to rename the show? I'd suggest Babewatch.

To my knowledge, there are no plans to rename the show. Though some prefer Babewatch, the truth is, the lifeguards watch the bay.

From mamacita: I am killing myself trying to remember the name of the soap you used to be on.

Please don't kill yourself! I played on Ryan's Hope and One Life to Live.

From boogieman7: What type of movie would you like to do?

I would like to try my hand at comedy. With soaps and Baywatch, I have a lot of experience with drama and romance. Comedy is something totally different.

From hyacinth: When did you first realize your aspirations to become an actress?

I did my first commercial when I was 10 months old, and I've been in the business ever since.

From pgonzale: Have you discovered the incredible world of Internet? I'm sorry my English is not very good, but I am from Costa Rica.

Honestly, I'm not that proficient with computers. I usually have somebody help me go online. They're fun, because I can interact with my fans--even in Costa Rica.

From batman0: What was your impression of Dubai UAE?

Dubai was lovely--one of the world's hidden treasures.

From bust: If you didn't have a job in Los Angeles, where would you prefer working or living?

New York City--I'm a born-and-bred city girl.

From whatup_g: Your character profile on the Baywatch Website states that "Caroline" has a talent for painting. Is this a hobby you pursue when you're not performing?

Right now, I'm redecorating my house, so the only painting I'm doing is ceilings, doors and moldings. Ugh!

From chimenti: How many hours a day/week do you work out to keep your beautiful body fit?

A lot!
