Award Winning Effects Wizard Steve Johnson Hosts Halloween Monster Maker's Bash

MASQUERADE OF THE MILLENNIUM PARTY.

This fabulous Halloween party is being hosted by master special effects wizard Steve Johnson for all LA's monster maker creatives.

The party has a "bad luck" theme and will include amazing visuals that could only be created by one of the great special effects and make-up geniuses of film and TV, such as giant ladders at the entrance, 100 open umbrellas, a 10 ft. tall jack o'lantern, two 30 ft. dancing men, amazing projections and effects, nitrogen fog coming out of antique baby carriages, a 12 ft. evil clown head with television eyes and nitrogen fogger breath and broken mirrors throughout the venue. Two disc jockeys, a live band and various games, including glass walking will entertain a crowd of over 1,500 with guests wearing some of the most creative costumes imaginable.

Steve Johnson's XFX, Inc. is a Burbank based state of the art animatronic creature effects and robotics facility that has just completed work on Disney's major holiday release "Bicentennial Man" starring Robin Williams opening December 17. Johnson created creatures like Si1 in "Species" and the aliens from "The Abyss" and make-up effects for "Ghostbusters," "Anaconda," "Poltergeist 2," the ABC miniseries "The Shining" (winning 2 Emmys), Shannon Doherty's series "Charmed" and upcoming features "Magnolia," starring Tom Cruise and "Monkey Bone" starring Whoopi Goldberg.
