Yasmine Bleeth Joins Ubi Soft Entertainment in Announcing Rayman's Run Benefiting Prevent Child Abuse

WHAT: Ubi Soft Entertainment(TM) is launching Rayman® 2 for the Nintendo 64® by sponsoring a charity run for children, Rayman's Run.

Children under 18 years old are invited to run or walk with celebrities in Rayman's Run. The run consists of a series of one-mile races set around Civic Center Plaza in downtown San Francisco.

-- The first 1,000 kids to register for the race will receive a free T-shirt.

-- Youths can enjoy the races, fun festivities and contest giveaways.

-- The race festival will offer food, live music, clowns and face painters.

-- Kids can come to the Rayman Pavilion and play Rayman's new adventure, Rayman 2: The Great Escape, as well as other Ubi Soft titles for Sega Dreamcast(TM), Nintendo 64® and the PlayStation® game console.

WHY: To increase the awareness for the need to prevent child abuse throughout California. Ubi Soft will be donating $20,000 to Prevent Child Abuse-California, a volunteer-based organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children and families.
