Yasmine Bleeth Joins as a Series RegularHOLLYWOOD, Aug. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- NASH BRIDGES, the popular drama series from Paramount Network Television and Rysher Entertainment begins production this week on its fifth season and marks the first season Yasmine Bleeth joins as a full cast member. NASH BRIDGES ranks as CBS' #1 rated series among men 18-34 and 18-49. Additionally, among all network dramas currently on television, NASH BRIDGES ranks #5 in the 18-49 and 25-54 key male demographics, surpassing such series as "The Practice" and "Providence." The fifth season of the hit drama series debuts on Friday, September 24 at 10:00PM (ET/PT) on CBS-TV.Production resumes with the conclusion of last year's cliffhanger season finale with the episode entitled "Truth and Consequences" written by Carlton Cuse and John Wirth. Caitlin's (Yasmine Bleeth) plane to Boston is canceled and she lands up at Nash's (Don Johnson) house and they profess their love for each other. Meanwhile, Joe's (Cheech Marin) wife goes to Sweden to take care of her sick mother and Joe decides to stay in San Francisco. Finally, Cassidy (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe) uncovers the truth that Evan (Jaime Gomez) has not remained monogamous through their relationship and cancels their wedding and returns to school at Berkeley. NASH BRIDGES combines an equal dose of adrenaline-charged action/adventure and comic relief. The series centers around the title character Nash Bridges (Johnson), a dedicated police officer and father who always comes out on top in his professional life, but is somewhat less successful in his personal life. As Captain of the Special Investigation Unit, Nash relies on his instincts and charm to solve crimes on the streets of San Francisco. The series also stars Cheech Marin as Joe Dominguez, Nash's long-term partner, Jaime Gomez as Evan Cortez, Jeff Perry as Harvey Leek and Yasmine Bleeth as Caitlin Cross.
