GENERAL HOSPITAL’S INGO RADEMACHER MOVES TO PRIMETIME AS NEW CAST MEMBER OF NBC’S UPCOMING DRAMA ‘TITANS’

(The following NBC Press Release was sent to us by Laura)

Ingo Rademacher -- who stars as Jax on General Hospital and was named one of People magazine’s Sexiest Men Alive-- will join the cast of NBC’s glossy new serial drama Titans (Wednesdays, 8-9 p.m. ET, premiering this fall). Rademacher will play David O’Connor, the devilishly handsome manager of the night club owned by Titans matriarch Gwen Williams (Victoria Principal).

The athletic Rademacher has appeared on General Hospital as a wealthy and driven business tycoon (since January 1996). TV viewers may also remember him as the hunky physical trainer in the pilot episode of NBC’s Veronica’s Closet. In 1998, People named Rademacher one of the Sexiest Men Alive.

Although he was born in what was then West Germany, the Rademachers re-settled in New South Wales, Australia when he was 10, where he helped his parents work a 400-acre cattle and Angora goat ranch that they owned and operated.

After graduation from high school, Rademacher moved to Sydney, where he became a model. Soon, he was cast as the lead character in the popular Aussie primetime series Paradise Beach, and after two more years, he made the jump to Los Angeles in 1994. He began his role on General Hospital two years later.

As a natural competitor, Rademacher became a West German ski champion when he was 8 and continued his passion for sports, competing in equestrian jumping, dressage and cross-country events between the ages of 10-14. As an adult, he was a beach volleyball player and an Ironman triathlete (for which he continues to train near his Pacific Palisades home).
