Rosters set for Flyers-Penguins alumni game Saturday

Hockey Hall of Fame members Bobby Clarke, Bill Barber, Mark Howe and Eric Lindros will be among those playing for the Philadelphia Flyers in an alumni game against the Pittsburgh Penguins at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on Saturday.

Clarke and Barber will join with Reggie Leach for a reunion of the "LCB Line" that helped the Flyers win the Stanley Cup in 1975.

Also playing in the game from the 1975 championship team will be forwards Bob Kelly and Orest Kindrachuk, and defensemen Joe Watson and Jim Watson.

Lindros will join John LeClair and Mikael Renberg to reform the "Legion of Doom" line that helped the Flyers reach the 1995 Eastern Conference Final and 1997 Stanley Cup Final.

Leading the Penguins will be Hockey Hall of Fame center Bryan Trottier and forward Phil Bourque, who were part of the Penguins' Stanley Cup championship teams in 1991 and 1992.

Also playing for the Penguins will be forward Jamie Leach, the son of Reggie Leach.

Others playing in the game for the Flyers will be forwards Simon Gagne and Daniel Briere, goaltender Brian Boucher, and former captains Dave Poulin and Eric Desjardins.

Also skating for the Penguins are forward Tyler Kennedy, who was part of the Penguins' 2009 Stanley Cup championship team, forward Colby Armstrong, and the father-and-son duo of Greg Malone and Ryan Malone.

The Flyers also will honor 11 members of their first-year team from 1967-68: forwards Lou Angotti, Don Blackburn, Leon Rochefort, Brit Selby, Garry Peters, Claude Laforge and Forbes Kennedy, defensemen Joe Watson and John Miszuk, and goaltenders Bernie Parent and Doug Favell.

Among the 11 guest coaches for the Flyers will be Larry Goodenough, Andre Dupont, Dave Schultz, Bill Clement, Don Saleski and Terry Crisp, who were part of the Flyers' Stanley Cup championship teams in 1974 and 1975.

Coaching the Penguins will be Craig Patrick, Eddie Johnston, Pierre Larouche, Rick Kehoe and Duane Rupp.

The Flyers and Penguins are celebrating their 50th anniversary seasons. The current teams will play in the 2017 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh on Feb. 25.

The game will be televised in the Philadelphia area at 7 p.m. ET on TCN and can be watched online at CSNPhilly.com and through the NBC Sports app.
