Flynn: "Can I be a little iffy what with this actual field work I‘m trying to do? Can I get back to you on that?"
- Flynn to Preecher: "Well, as much as I‘d like to help Sarah Day make her splash, I mean if this is a new environment of second guessing and micromanaging equipment, let me be the first to go on hands and knees, beg Teddy Olsen and with draw his retirement"
- Mogilevich: "Terry, I gotta tell you, this... this is a major loss for me. To sacrifice a guy who is not only tough as nails but loyal like a dog."
Terry: (opening a case of money) "Go buy your self 20 more just like him."
Mogilevich: "My god who‘s my guy taking the wrap for?"
Terry: "Don‘t ask"
Mogilevich: "Come on Terry, who the hell went crazy on this girl"

- Rizullo: "You going to bring in all your family & friends? Like we don‘t have enough Russians in this country."
Chris: "Rizullo, you hear these guys asking you how far it is to swim from Africa to Sicily?"

- Terry: "Problems?"
Chris: "Besides that little guiney with the big mouth"
Terry: "What‘s the fun being one if you can‘t act like one?"
Chris: "Yeah."
- Terry to an emotional Chris: "You going soft on me? You going to jeopardize yourself for some whore you held hands with in high school?"
- Flynn: "You don‘t like to be simple do you Mooney?"
Mooney: "I’ll tell you what’s simple Flynn. You know what‘s simple? Someone’s making this poor Russian into a patsy."
- Sarah: "Is Jimmy Flynn someone I should be looking at?"
Preecher: "Whatever lip service it pays to morality in it’s charter does not make an institution moral Sarah. Only people make it moral. We need to know if the institutions been corrupted. Now if Jimmy Flynn’s part of something large, definitely you need to be looking at him but just keep in mind he might be trying to sail unchartered water without a compass."
- Preecher: "What happened to your face?"
Flynn: "Difference of opinion with Mooney."
- Preecher: "Anyone tries to work all on his own Jimmy winds up over their head Jimmy"
Flynn: "Well that‘s where I‘m at now."
Preecher: "Even with the best of intentions we can‘t do it alone."
- Preecher: "Can you work with Mooney"

- Trout: "Everything I learned about being a cop I learned from you. I‘m not switching schools now."

- Preecher: "I‘d be sorry to lose you. Agent Flynn was just telling me he thought you had an interesting angle on the case."
Flynn: "And that I could work with you assuming that you could work with me."
